| In 1998 I was introduced to the ancient art of dye painting on silk and immediately fell in love with the technique and texture. Silk is a beautiful gift from nature that has been cultivated for over 4,000 years. The rich fabrics are unsurpassed as a medium for the creative use of color and the rhythm of brushstrokes. | Perhaps the greatest influence on my work in all medium is having lived for twelve years in the tropical splendor of Puerto Rico. My love of color and design in the world of fashion and home décor provided a point of inspiration. | |||||||
